The volume of a person’s speech says a lot about the meaning. The same goes for musical statements. Ramp up the dynamic awareness with this theatrical solo that highlights just how important volume and dynamics are. The rhythms played on the rim are reminiscent of time ticking by uneventfully, followed by increasingly frantic rhythms played on the snare drum head doubling the spoken text.
